About

I am a data scientist with 10+ years of experience in computer vision and natural language processing. My background is in numerical modeling and I obtained my PhD from the University of Limerick, Ireland researching fluid-structure interaction. Following this I joined Georgia Tech as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Don Giddens. I then joined Emory University where I currently manage the research team at the Emory Cardiovacular Imaging & Core Biomechanics laboratory.

I build machine learning models and apps in a wide range of disciplines including computer vision, natural language processing and recommender systems. When I have time I blog about some interesting work I'm doing. For inquiries please reach out to me here or directly via email.
